HitMeUp Help
The HitMeUp keyboard doesn't show up
- Open Settings › HitMeUp › Keyboards and turn on HitMeUp.
- Right below, turn on Allow Full Access.
- In any app, press and hold the globe key on the keyboard and choose HitMeUp.
To watch the demo again: in HitMeUp, open the Settings tab (Réglages) and tap See how to turn on the keyboard again (Revoir comment activer le clavier).
The keyboard doesn't appear in some apps
iOS doesn't allow third-party keyboards in password fields, and some apps block them. In those cases, iOS switches back to its own keyboard automatically. It's not a HitMeUp bug.
Can I type with HitMeUp?
Yes. HitMeUp has a full keyboard (AZERTY layout for now) alongside your availability, so you can write your message without switching keyboards.
Why Full Access?
Without it, iOS stops the keyboard from reading your calendar, so it can't show your real availability. HitMeUp doesn't read your conversations, and it doesn't keep or send what you type.
The keyboard says “Just one more step…” (Encore une petite étape…)
The keyboard is added, but Full Access is off. Go back to Settings › HitMeUp › Keyboards and turn on Allow Full Access.
The keyboard says “Your Google Calendar needs a quick reconnect” (Ton agenda Google demande une petite reconnexion)
Google ended the connection. Open HitMeUp, go to Settings › Accounts (Réglages › Comptes) and tap Reconnect (Reconnecter) on the Google row.
The keyboard says “Your availability is a bit out of date” (Tes dispos datent un peu)
HitMeUp hasn't been able to update your calendar for more than 24 hours. So it never offers a slot that's already taken, the keyboard waits. Open HitMeUp for a second, then come back: your availability will reappear.
The app says “iPhone Calendar not allowed” (Calendrier iPhone non autorisé)
You declined access to your iPhone's Calendar. Tap Open Settings (Ouvrir Réglages) and allow access if you want it to count. Your other calendars keep working.
My shared slots don't open anymore
A slots page stays valid for 7 days. After that, share new availability from the keyboard.
Disconnect a calendar
- In the app: Settings › Accounts (Réglages › Comptes), turn off the Google switch and confirm with Remove (Retirer).
- iPhone Calendar: iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars.
- On Google's side: open your Google Account's third-party connections and remove HitMeUp.
