Privacy
HitMeUp is published by Voight-Kampff. Here's, simply, what the app does with your data.
What you type
HitMeUp is a full keyboard (AZERTY layout for now). It doesn't read the text of your conversations, and it doesn't keep or send the letters you type.
Your calendar
HitMeUp reads your calendar to know when you're free or busy. The keyboard connects to Google only to update those free and busy times. Your events' titles, locations and attendees never leave your iPhone.
When you share slots
To create your booking page, HitMeUp sends its server (hitmeup.date):
- the slots you offer (start, end, duration) and your time zone;
- the meeting type: in person with the place, or video with the service you chose;
- whether you ask for your contact's phone number;
- the page's look: title, display name, color, and photo if you added one;
- a key unique to your device.
Nothing else leaves your calendar.
When your contact books
What they enter, their first name and their phone number if you asked for it, is stored on the server with their booking.
How long
Your page link expires after 7 days.
Disconnect your calendar
In HitMeUp, Settings › Accounts (Réglages › Comptes). You can also remove HitMeUp from your Google Account's third-party connections.
